Custom tools
Tools for the jobs a page cannot do
Calculators, quote flows, booking, dashboards and portals, built around the way the business already works.
When a page is not enough
A roofer loses time quoting jobs that were never the right size. A garage wants the registration and the job type before the phone rings. A firm wants customers to see the status of a piece of work without emailing the office. Those are tools. A prettier homepage will not build them.
Every bespoke project is scoped individually, from £2,500. The price is the conversation about the rules, the edge cases and who maintains the numbers, not a line on a package list.
Examples
The useful ones are usually small and specific.
- A quote range that uses your rates and prints the exclusions
- A booking request that matches how the diary actually works
- A simple portal where a customer can see documents or the next step
- A dashboard for the figures you currently paste into a spreadsheet
- A connection to the CRM or inbox you already pay for

The quote calculator, the website ROI model and the website score tool are here so you can see the standard of interaction, not because the sample prices apply to your business. A real tool uses your rules. If the rules are still in someone's head, the first part of the project is writing them down.
Questions
When is a custom tool worth building?
When a page cannot do the job: a quote range from your own rates, a booking request that matches the diary, or a small dashboard. Bespoke systems start at £2,500 and are scoped individually.
How much does a website cost for a small business in Lancashire?
The published starting prices are £750 for a Website Starter, £1,250 for a Business Website, £2,000 for Growth and £2,500 for a bespoke system. They are the same whether the business is in Lancashire, Greater Manchester or further away. Monthly care starts at £49. We confirm the figure in writing before any build starts, and we do not add a local surcharge.
Do you only build websites for trades?
No. We build for any UK small business. Roofers, driveway and landscaping firms, kitchen and bathroom companies, and car detailers have dedicated pages because we know those jobs well. Those pages are extras, not a limit.
