How much does a website cost for a small business in Lancashire?

The published starting prices are £750 for a Website Starter, £1,250 for a Business Website, £2,000 for Growth and £2,500 for a bespoke system. They are the same whether the business is in Lancashire, Greater Manchester or further away. Monthly care starts at £49. We confirm the figure in writing before any build starts, and we do not add a local surcharge.

Where is TMWV based, and where do you work?

We are based in Darwen, Lancashire. We work across Lancashire, Greater Manchester and beyond, and remotely anywhere in the UK. We do not publish a street address.

Do you only build websites for trades?

No. We build for any UK small business. Roofers, driveway and landscaping firms, kitchen and bathroom companies, and car detailers have dedicated pages because we know those jobs well. Those pages are extras, not a limit.

Will you guarantee a position on Google or in an AI answer?

No. We set up the technical basics, the page structure and the local signals, and we write so a person or an assistant can quote the page accurately. Rankings and citations are not a deliverable.

How much does a website cost?

Starting prices are £750 for a Website Starter, £1,250 for a Business Website, £2,000 for Growth and £2,500 for bespoke digital systems. The figure moves with the number of pages, the writing, booking or quote tools, integrations and how quickly you need it. We confirm the price in writing before any build starts.

Can you work with the website I already have?

Yes. A redesign, a repair or a focused improvement are all reasonable. If the current site has pages that already bring enquiries, we plan around those rather than throwing them away. If the site is beyond a sensible repair, we will say so.

Do I need WordPress?

Not necessarily. WordPress is a sensible choice for some businesses and a poor one for others. We choose the setup that fits how you will update the site and what it needs to do. You are not pushed into a particular page builder.

Can you help me show up on Google?

Yes. We set up the technical basics, the page structure, local signals and, on a growth plan, ongoing improvements.

Do you write the content?

Yes. We can draft the pages with you, from how you actually sell and the jobs you want more of. You can also supply the words. Either way, someone who knows the work needs to check that every claim is true.

Can you look after the site after launch?

Yes. Website Care is £49 a month for updates, backups, security monitoring, minor changes and technical monitoring. Growth is £149 a month and up. Growth Plus is £299 a month and up. Care is for a site that is already in decent shape.

Can you build custom functionality?

Yes. Calculators, quote flows, booking, dashboards, portals, connections to the software you already use, and small internal tools. Every bespoke project is scoped individually, from £2,500.

Do I need to sort my own hosting?

You do not need to arrange hosting before we speak. We recommend a setup and help you get onto it. The account should be in your name, so the site is yours if you later want to move.

How long does a project take?

A focused starter site is often 2 to 4 weeks once we have the content and timely feedback. A business website is often 4 to 8 weeks. Growth work and bespoke systems are scoped, and commonly take 6 to 12 weeks. Most delays are decisions and content, not the build itself.
