Websites for driveways and landscaping

Turn '50 square metres of resin' into a serious enquiry.

Driveway and garden buyers look at photos for weeks, then ask what a material costs per square metre. A site that says 'call for a quote' makes them call the firm that showed a price.

Where these sites lose the job

Landscaping sites fail in a particular way. They can look busy and still give a buyer nothing to compare.

  • No way to price the job

A spot-check of landscaping and driveway firms around Bolton found reasonable modern sites, and none of them had a price or m² calculator, or a way to book a survey online. One firm was still on a GoDaddy builder site with a 2018 footer.

  • A gallery with no material

Buyers compare resin, block and porcelain. A folder of unlabelled photos does not tell them which jobs are which, or which town they were in.

  • The old 'no website' pattern has not gone

LeadFly's 2026 trade audit found 19% of gardeners with no website. A 2016 Nominet survey put gardeners at 49% with no website. The Nominet figure is old. It is useful only as a direction: this trade adopted sites late, and a lot of the sites that exist still do not sell.

  • Winter is when the site should be working

The buying season for drives and gardens bunches into late winter and spring. A site that cannot qualify a lead in January is late for the jobs you want in May.

What a good site does here

  • Prices a job per square metre, with the material named, and says the figure is a guide until the ground has been seen.
  • Filters a portfolio by project type and town, so a resin drive in Bolton is not mixed in with a patio in a different county.
  • Explains the materials in plain language: resin, block, porcelain, and what changes the price.
  • Books a site survey, and can take a deposit once the quote is accepted.
  • Offers finance only where the firm is allowed to, for jobs over a few thousand pounds.

Job value, national guides

A driveway of about 50 m² is roughly £4,500 to £8,000 in block paving, and about £4,500 to £8,700 in resin. A garden makeover of about 50 m² is roughly £6,000 to £12,000. Those are national guide prices from Tailored Quote, MyBuilder and BookaBuilderUK, not a quote for a North West job.

What the calculator is for

Material, area and groundwork are enough to give a ballpark. The ballpark pre-qualifies the lead. It is not a promise that the figure is the final invoice.

Features that earn their place

A booking page is worth having. The survey is the sale. People should be able to request a time after they have used the calculator, including in the evening.

  • Per-m² quote calculator

Material, area and a groundwork allowance. This is the page that does the selling. It sits in Bespoke Digital Systems, from £2,500, because it is a tool with your numbers in it, not a brochure block.

  • Filterable portfolio

Project type and town. Buyers research visually. Unlabelled photos waste the work you have already photographed.

  • Survey booking

Cal.com or Calendly, with the postcode checked before the slot is offered, so you are not driving an hour for a job you do not cover.

  • Deposit when they accept

Stripe for the deposit. The balance can stay on bank transfer or a later Stripe link. Card details stay on Stripe's checkout page. We do not take or store card numbers.

  • Finance over £3,000

A firm that introduces a customer to a lender is credit broking. It generally needs FCA authorisation, or it must act as an Introducer Appointed Representative of an authorised broker. Finance promotions have to follow FCA rules, including a representative example, and repayment figures are illustrative. We only add a finance widget after the client's lender or broker has approved them and supplied the compliant wording. Brokers used for this kind of work include V12 Retail Finance, Novuna and trade schemes such as TradeHelp. We are not those firms, and this is not a partnership or an offer of credit from us.

Recommended package

Bespoke Digital Systems

from £2,500

The recommended build is Bespoke Digital Systems, from £2,500, because the m² calculator, the portfolio filter and the survey booking are the product. Growth, from £2,000, is the right step if you want the site, the area pages and the gallery first and the calculator as a later scope. Every bespoke project is priced from the logic, not from a guess.

Growth, from £149 a month, covers seasonal pages and Google Business Profile support through the quiet months. Growth Plus, from £299 a month, is the step up if you also want ads in the February to May rush. Website Care at £49 a month does not include that content.

Questions

Do you only build websites for driveways, patios and landscaping?

No. Based in Darwen, working across Lancashire, Greater Manchester and beyond (and remotely anywhere in the UK). This page exists because we know driveways, patios and landscaping work. If your business is different, we still build the site.

Is the calculator a fixed quote?

No. It is a ballpark from the area, the material and an allowance for groundwork. The survey confirms it. The page should say that in the same breath as the figure.

Can people book a survey on their phone?

Yes. That is the point of the booking page. Cal.com or Calendly can sit on the site, and the postcode can be checked before a slot is shown.

Do you take the deposit yourselves?

No. Stripe Checkout takes the card payment on Stripe's page. We store the amount and whether it was paid. We never see the card number.

Where this work happens

Some places have a page of their own, written around that town rather than a swapped name. The trade is the same. The streets are not.
