Websites for detailing studios

Five-star reviews, and nowhere to book the coating.

Detailing studios live on Instagram and still lose the person who wants a package, a price and a time. A deposit on the booking is what stops the no-show.

Where these sites lose the job

This is the weakest local web presence in the research, and it is specific.

  • No website at all

In a spot-check of 10 car-detailing listings on Google Maps in Bolton, 5 had no website. One more had only a third-party booking link and a Facebook page. One had a tiny page on a .xyz domain with no page title. That is 7 of 10 without a proper site. One PPF and ceramic studio had a full site.

  • Packages that only exist in a DM

Customers pick on visible results and on knowing what a package includes. If the price lives in Instagram messages, every enquiry starts from scratch and no-shows are expensive.

  • The booking tool is someone else's

A third-party booking link can take the appointment and still leave you with no site, no package page and no record you own. The studio should have its own page even if the diary sits in Square, SimplyBook.me or Cal.com.

  • Mobile work with no coverage check

If you travel to the customer, the site should say which postcodes you cover before they book a slot you cannot reach.

What a good site does here

  • Lists packages by car size, with what is included, so a message is not required to get a price.
  • Shows before-and-after photos of your work, not stock images of a wet bonnet.
  • Takes a booking and a deposit, and says what the deposit covers if they cancel.
  • Checks the postcode for mobile detailers before the slot is confirmed.
  • Offers a maintenance plan for people who will come back, without pretending a £25 valet needs a finance agreement.

What jobs are worth

A spot-check of local reviews found valets mentioned around £25, and full-body paint-protection film on cars such as an M3, a 911 and a Defender. Treat that as an observation of the spread, not a price list. Ceramic coating and PPF sit in the high hundreds to the thousands. That upper range is a judgement from those reviews, not a published national guide.

Why a deposit pays for the page

No-shows hurt a diary that is booked in hours, not in weeks. Online booking with a deposit is the feature that makes a small site pay its way. Repeat maintenance washes are the reason to keep the customer after the first coating.

Features that earn their place

Booking is essential in this trade, not optional. The page should take the appointment and the deposit. Phone-only booking is how no-shows happen.

  • Package selector

Car size by package. A small studio can start with a clear price list on a Website Starter. A selector that calculates the combination is Bespoke Digital Systems, from £2,500.

  • Booking with a deposit

Square Appointments, SimplyBook.me, or Cal.com with Stripe. The deposit is taken when they book. Klarna, where you want it for a larger PPF job, has a limit on where it fits.

  • Buy now, pay later

FCA regulation of deferred payment credit, including products such as Klarna, began on 15 July 2026. The third-party lender has to be authorised. A merchant that only offers the product at checkout is generally exempt. It suits services around £100 to £1,500, such as a ceramic coating, a removals deposit or a larger garage repair. It is a poor fit for a £5,000 roof, driveway or kitchen, where instalment finance through a broker is the usual route.

  • Maintenance plans

GoCardless or Stripe Billing for a recurring wash plan. GoCardless is the usual Direct Debit route. We describe it. We do not claim to be a GoCardless partner.

  • Before and after, and coverage

A gallery of your corrections and coatings, plus a postcode check if you go to the car rather than the car coming to you.

Recommended package

Website Starter

from £750

Most small studios should start with Website Starter at £750: a proper site, the packages, a gallery and a way to enquire. Growth, from £2,000, fits a PPF studio that needs more pages, a fuller gallery and local search work. Online booking that takes a card deposit is a tool, so it is scoped as Bespoke Digital Systems from £2,500, even when the brochure site is the £750 starter. We will not pretend the deposit tool is included in the starter price.

Website Care at £49 a month is the usual retainer: updates, backups and small edits. Move to Growth, from £149 a month, only if you want ongoing search and content work.

Questions

Do you only build websites for car detailing, ceramic coating and ppf?

No. Based in Darwen, working across Lancashire, Greater Manchester and beyond (and remotely anywhere in the UK). This page exists because we know car detailing, ceramic coating and ppf work. If your business is different, we still build the site.

Can a £750 site take deposits?

The £750 Website Starter is the brochure site: pages, packages, gallery and enquiry. Taking a card deposit at booking is extra, scoped as Bespoke Digital Systems from £2,500, or by embedding a booking tool you already pay for, such as Square Appointments or SimplyBook.me.

Is Klarna suitable for a full PPF wrap?

FCA regulation of deferred payment credit, including products such as Klarna, began on 15 July 2026. The third-party lender has to be authorised. A merchant that only offers the product at checkout is generally exempt. It suits services around £100 to £1,500, such as a ceramic coating, a removals deposit or a larger garage repair. It is a poor fit for a £5,000 roof, driveway or kitchen, where instalment finance through a broker is the usual route.

Will you invent before-and-after photos?

No. If you do not have photos yet, the page says so and we plan a proper shoot. We do not use another studio's work.
