Local SEO

Local SEO for service businesses

Be findable for the work you do, in the places you actually cover. No mass-produced town pages.

How local customers search

Someone with a leaking roof or a firm that needs an accountant searches a job, a place, or both. They compare a handful of results, the map listing, the reviews and the first screen of the site. Local SEO is the work of making that comparison fair, then making your page the one that is easy to act on.

Google Business Profile

For many trades, the profile is as important as the website. Categories, services, photos, hours and the website link need to match the real business. We help you set that up and keep it consistent. We do not write fake reviews or buy them. If reviews are thin, the useful work is a proper way of asking customers who were genuinely happy.

Service pages, without the spam

A page for a service you offer, written for the area you cover, is useful. Fifty pages that swap the town name and nothing else are a liability. We do not mass-generate location pages. If you genuinely have more than one depot or a clear service area, we say so once, clearly, and we build extra pages only where there is something different to say.

The rest is ordinary and important: the same name, address and phone everywhere they appear, a site Google can crawl, and titles that match the job.

Questions

Can you help a business show up for searches in its own town?

We can set up the local foundations: pages that name the places you really cover, a Google Business Profile that matches the site, and titles that describe the work.

How much does a website cost for a small business in Lancashire?

The published starting prices are £750 for a Website Starter, £1,250 for a Business Website, £2,000 for Growth and £2,500 for a bespoke system. They are the same whether the business is in Lancashire, Greater Manchester or further away. Monthly care starts at £49. We confirm the figure in writing before any build starts, and we do not add a local surcharge.

Do you only build websites for trades?

No. We build for any UK small business. Roofers, driveway and landscaping firms, kitchen and bathroom companies, and car detailers have dedicated pages because we know those jobs well. Those pages are extras, not a limit.
